As an energy healer and Licensed esthetician I enjoy creating sacred space for my clients. My hopes are that my clients flow in and leave more relaxed than what they came. I am offering skin care services that focus on preventative as well as corrective skin care. For all clients that come in to see me I will provide a relaxing facial and customized treatment if necessary. My ultimate goal is to build rapport so that I can get to know you and your skin. There are healthy benefits that follow therapeutic touch. Reducing anxiety, deepening relaxation, reducing stress, and improving mood and energy are a few benefits. We do not get enough time to unplug from our daily responsibilities so when the opportunity presents itself, we can experience a lovely dance with self-care. I often share with my clients that when you start coming in for skincare service, we are building a partnership which begins with your first appointment and really depends on how consistent you are with your homecare regimen. We often know we have to do something but can be afraid about what direction to take. If there is someone who has had skin irritation in the past it can be a process to finding a solution, so I understand the apprehension. My suggestion to all is make a decision and move with what feels right to you. Our skin will change and there is no one size fits all solution as our skin changes. Taking initiative can put us on a successful path. It is important for us to have a healthy gut because when our gut isn’t balanced our skin can become irritated. My hopes are that my readers can be motivated to join me in discovering healthy habits which can turn into a lifestyle. Your favorite esthetician is here to walk with you on the journey but in order to get the results you are seeking you have to put in the work. I encourage you to make an appointment with me or an esthetician in your area so you can have an accountability partner and a glow pro to identify a great solution for your individual needs.

May is skin cancer awareness and I want to share how important it is to protect the skin from UV radiation. Unprotected sun exposure can be harmful so I want to encourage my readers to check their skin by seeing a dermatologist and getting a professional skin exam once a year just to prevent unseen warning signs.

Seek shade between 10am and 4pm.

Common signs according to the CDC are new growths on the skin, a sore that doesn’t heal, or change in a mole. Please listen and pay attention to your body. SPF is a great way to protect yourself while outdoors from UV radiation. UV radiation can cause premature aging and skin cancer. If you may be allergic to SPF covering up your arms and legs or wearing a hat to shade your face, head, neck, and ears in addition to UVA and UVB blocking sunglasses to avoid sunburn can help. I encourage you to find a solution that works for you. I want to take a moment to acknowledge all cancer survivors. There are more than 80 different types of cancers and if you know someone battling with this dis-ease I want to send a virtual hug and acknowledge every battle won, every battle lost, and those still fighting. Many blessings.
